Cross Media Analysis

I have analysed a film magazine cover, a poster and a teaser trailer for the horror film 'Jennifer's Body'. This cross media will give me an idea of what objects, such as the film title I need to keep consistent to look proffesional.

Clips of the film are played and then the actresses name flashes up and after another clip, the film name appears. It is fast and appears to be action packed. A different font and colour is used to the poster and magazine cover however the text is still in capitals.


These three film materials have been quite consistent. The actresses face is shown in all three as well as her name and the film name in clear capitals. The colour red has also appeared in both the poster and magazine cover. This suits the horror theme as it represents blood. This shows a film keeps a consistent them across materials so it is easily recognised by its audience.
