New Media

During my media lesson, we discussed different ways of using new media to collect research for our project. This included using video recording an audience watching a trailer to capture reactions as well as voice recording an interview to capture everything said, including comments which may not get recorded. Mobile phones can help contact friends; smart phones such as blackberrys and iphones have their own chat which is free to use to other people with the same phone. This can be used to find out opinions on films and expand my research sample.


We also practiced using the Sony A1E in class to learn how to use it and the different settings on it to alter the effects. This was useful as I now know how to make the most of it while filming my teaser trailer.
